The presidium of a Dnepropetrovsk region trilateral social and economic council with the participation of the deputy chairman of regional administration Mr. Gennadiy Korban was held on 23 July 2014.

Sergey Yunak, the chairman of Dnepropetrovsk territorial Union of coal-mining industry of Ukraine took part in the council work.

 

Preliminary results for the performance of Regional Agreement approved by Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration, associations (organizations) of regional employers and General representation authorities of union organization were summarized during the council meeting.

In spite of the drop in production in some spheres of industry the amount of industrial products sold was 89.6 bln UAH (Ukrainian Hrivna) in January through May 2014. According to this performance measure Dnepropetrovsk region gained the lead among all regions of Ukraine.

For the first time Dnepropetrovsk area has become the leader on growth rates of its own returns to the Pension Fund budget lately.

During the first six months 8.3 bln UAH that is 102.6% of planned performances were charged.

Consumer price index (inflation index) in the region was 111.4% (and 111.6% in Ukraine) in January through June 2014.

During June 2014 dept on unpaid wages reduced more than by 37% (32.4 mln UAH). This wage exceeds the statutory cost of living in 2.8 times for working people.

Average monthly wage in the region increased in 6.2% that is 3,450.00 UAH in January through May 2014. This wage exceeds the statutory cost of living in 2.8 times for working people.  

Actual wages increased in 1.8%.

In May 2014 an average wage of full-time employees in the region was 3,605.00 UAH that ranks the second place among all regions of Ukraine.

The incomings of own funds to the regional Pension Fund increased in 5.7% in January through June 2014 compared to 2013 that is 8.3 bln UAH.

The average scale of pension increased in 5.7% and as of 01 July 2014 it was 1,640.64 UAH.

The situation at labor market remains stable: as of 01 June 2014 people size who is considered to be unemployed was 31,300 and the level of recorded unemployment is 1.5% (1.7% in Ukraine).

Dear Igor Valeryevych!

Thepresidiumof region trilateral social and economic council meeting reviewed the issue raised by the coal-mining Union regarding the draft changes to the State Budget 2014 made by the Cabinet of Ministers and submitted to Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine.

Herewith we kindly request the regional administration authorities to support the Union position on inadmissibility of adoption of changes proposed by the Cabinet which can result in aggravation of situation at the employees of mines and in the region on the whole.
