“Pershotravesk Mine management” that is a part of PJSC “DTEK PavlogradCoal” accepted and commissioned new coal face 595.

Its economic reserves are 260 000 Mt of coal that assures quarry face operation and stable salary for mine-workers within the next six months.

The State Committee accepted the coal face with an “excellent” grade that means complete conformity with all operational and safety requirements.

The length of the working face is 263 m, excavation column is 604 m. The coal face is equipped with mechanized system КД-80с, mining combine КА-200 and scraper conveyer СП-251. The face is worked out by Igor Gretsko’s brigade.

The Union of Coalminers is requesting the Government of Ukraine to withdraw the bill «On reformation of obligatory social insurance and legalization of remuneration of labor fund» from the Parliament.

On 16 September 2014, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine submitted this bill to the Parliament for review.

The bill makes provision for the establishment of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine commencing on 1 January 2015 by merging the Occupational Accident Insurance Fund of Ukraine and the Temporary Disability Insurance Fund.

Currently the system of obligatory state social insurance provides the material security and services for more than 30 million insured people in Ukraine. More than 14 million employees and 1.5 million employers pay a single social fee and exercise insurance funds administration.

The main goal of such actions performed by the Government is to invalidate funds of democratic self-government and centralize the insurance system management. The proposal made by the Government is the attempt to cancel out a number of previous achievements developing a Ukrainian social insurance model on the basis of European standards. We consider that the suspension of these institutions funding at the expense of social insurance funds will result in the disastrous effects.

Rehabilitation process of employees after occupational disease and accidents, and many other issues generates an individual question.

As a result, the loss of operating time on disease will increase.

”DTEK” completed the management reform “Vertical”. A strategic holding company and three industrial companies were set up.

The transformation program “Vertical” started in 2011 at PJSC “DTEK”. In the past three years a three-level management model at business blocks “Coal” and “Generation” was replaced by a tow-level one. In 2013 “DTEK” proceeded to the second phase of reorganization. The strategic holding company “DTEK B.V.” and three sub-holding companies providing assets management in the traditional energy sector (“DTEK Energo” headed by “DTEK ENERGY B.V.”), at the alternative energy sector (“DTEK ВИЭ” headed by “DTEK RENEWABLES B.V.”), and at the oil and gas extraction sectors (“DTEK OIL&GAS B.V.”) were created on the Company basis.

The strategic holding company “DTEK” is 100% owner of three sub-holding companies. Mr. Maksim Tymchenko became a leader of the strategic holding company.

“DTEK Energo” headed by Mr. Vsevolod Staruknin, Director General (earlier ha was DTEK Chief Financial Director) will accumulate functions of the coal extraction, generation and power distribution, develop functions of industrial appraisal (expertise) and services. The structural feature of the company is the fact that “DTEK Energo” Director General will be in charge of the Executive Director department along with the production management, “KievEnergo” company, commercial activities and logistics management. Mr.Dmitriy Sakharuk, the Executive Director, will coordinate functions of financial and personnel management, legal security, communication, regional policy, IT as well as DTEK Service.

“DTEK ВИЭ” plans to continue projects development at the wind power engineering. Private Stock Company “Oil-and-Gas Production” as the largest holding company assets at the oil-and-gas areas will proceed projects with oil-and-gas production.
